The trailer rolls up dressed for the occasion: flowers on the counter, menu board out front, neon glowing behind the bartenders. Then it pours a signature drink menu written around the two of you.
Compass Mobile Bar brings a custom built trailer bar and professional bartenders to weddings anywhere in New Jersey.
Every wedding gets a custom cocktail menu designed around the couple, mocktails included.
You buy the alcohol at retail from our shopping list; Compass handles bartenders, mixers, ice, garnishes, and service.
Fully insured and ready for any venue. Check your date: (908) 481-5819.
Who This Is For
You've been to the wedding where the bar was two coolers and a stressed cousin. You are not throwing that wedding. Compass Mobile Bar exists for couples who want the bar to feel like part of the design: something guests walk up to, photograph, and remember. All without adding a single task to your planning list.
We work weddings of every shape across New Jersey: venue receptions, tented backyard celebrations, barn weddings, waterfront ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and next day brunches. If the trailer fits, we pour there. And because we plan the menu with you in advance, the bar matches the wedding instead of fighting it.
Couples who want a signature cocktail (or two) named after their story
Backyard and tented weddings that need a real bar, not a folding table
Venues that allow outside bar service and require insured vendors
Cocktail hours that deserve their own moment before the reception
Rehearsal dinners and welcome parties that set the tone for the weekend
What We Actually Handle
Signature Menu DesignWe build your drink menu together before the wedding: his and hers cocktails, crowd favorites, and mocktails for the guests who skip the alcohol.
The Shopping ListYou buy the alcohol; we tell you exactly what and how much based on your menu and guest count. Whatever's left over stays with you.
Professional BartendersFriendly, fast, and dressed for the occasion. They run the bar from setup to breakdown so nobody in your family has to.
The Trailer, DressedReclaimed wood, warm lighting, neon compass, flowers, and a framed menu board. It photographs beautifully from every angle.
Mixers, Ice & GarnishesFresh juice, housemade syrups, garnishes that end up on Instagram, plus cups, straws, and napkins, all included in service.
Venue CoordinationCertificates of insurance for your venue, placement planning, and arrival timing worked out with your coordinator ahead of the day.
The backbar your cocktail hour photos will be taken in front of.
Why A Trailer Bar Beats The Banquet Setup
A standard venue bar disappears into the wallpaper. A custom built trailer bar becomes a destination inside your wedding: the place guests gather, the backdrop of half the candid photos, the thing people mention on the ride home.
A destination, not a folding table. Your cocktail hour gets a centerpiece and your reception gets a second focal point beyond the dance floor.
Onboard power and running water. No generator behind the ceremony, no extension cords across the dance floor, no demands on your venue.
Setup and breakdown, handled. The trailer arrives early, sets up quietly, and disappears clean. The logistics stay invisible.
In New Jersey, mobile bars operate as a service: you purchase the alcohol and we handle everything else. It typically saves couples real money versus venue packages: you pay retail for bottles instead of marked up pricing per drink, and you keep what's left.
Getting married at home? The backyard wedding bar page covers how the trailer sets up on a lawn, patio, or driveway, with a form to check your date.
How It Works
It starts with a conversation about your date, venue, guest count, and taste. From there we design the menu, send the shopping list, and coordinate details with your venue or planner. On the day, the trailer arrives early, sets up quietly, and is polished and pouring before your first guest finds the bar.
Check your date: form or phone, zero obligation
Menu design session: signature drinks, favorites, mocktails
Shopping list delivered: sized to your menu and headcount
Wedding day: we arrive early, pour beautifully, and break down clean
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We coordinate directly with venues and planners: placement, arrival timing, and certificates of insurance. If your venue allows outside bar service, we handle the rest.
That's the best part. We design your menu together: signature drinks built around your favorites, plus crowd favorites and mocktails so every guest has something great in hand.
You do. We send a precise shopping list based on your menu and guest count. You pay retail for the bottles, we handle mixers, ice, garnishes, and all the service, and you keep any leftovers.
Service length is flexible and shaped around your timeline: cocktail hour only, cocktail hour plus reception, or the full celebration. We'll plan the service window when we build your quote.
Perfect. That's where the trailer shines. It's powered on its own with running water on board, so it works anywhere it can park: lawns, driveways, gravel lots, waterfront properties.
As early as you can. Prime wedding dates (spring and fall Saturdays especially) get claimed well ahead. If your date is coming up fast, ask anyway; if the trailer is free, we'll make it work.
The trailer's awning covers the serving window, so light rain rarely changes anything. For a real storm, Compass can provide a tent for a small additional fee, and we will work with you on placement, timing, or rescheduling if the weather makes the day unworkable.
Bartender only service starts at $550. Trailer packages are quoted to your date, location, guest count, and hours, so send your date and we will price your exact event. Because Compass runs BYOB, the alcohol is a separate, retail priced purchase you make from our shopping list.
